Payment Methods

We currently accept payment by Visa, Master, Amex and debit cards :-

At the checkout you will be prompted for 'please select payment type'.
From the drop down menu you may then select any of the above.

Please note that we may require 'faxed' verification of name and address if using Amex.
This can be a utility bill (gas, electric or phone) or credit card bill.

FAQ's

Q. Can I pay by cheque?

A. UK customers may pay by cheque. Please print out your order at cheque and send to us with your cheque. 

Q. Can I buy any amount using credit cards?
A. As a rule we do place a floor limit to the amount on credit cards. If you exceed this limit then we may ask for further id or an alternative form of payment. Large orders are normally paid by cheque or wire depending upon country.

Q. Will you confirm my first order by phone ?
A. Yes, first time orders are confirmed by phone, via a landline number (not cell phone or payphone). We add this step to reduce the risk of fraudulent purchases. For example, children have been know to use their parents credit cards without permission! 
This confirmation also gives us an audit trail. During this confirmation call we can also answer any remaining questions that you may still have.

Q. Is this site a 'secure site' ?
A.  When you enter the area for placing your credit card details you will normally notice that the URL changes from http:// to https:// and most browsers will inform you of this. Because our site uses frames, to aid navigation, you may not see this  being displayed (depending upon page you have come from). If you right mouse button click when in the credit card entry section and select properties you will however see the 'https' should you wish to check this. We would like to assure you that our credit card entry page is secure. See our page on Security.

Q. Although I can use Visa, why can't I use 'Visa Electron'?
A. 'Visa Electron' requires that the customer must be present in person for the transaction and can therefore not be used for internet or mail order purchases.
